Naming Ceremonies

I am a mum to twins who I had waited a long time for. Becoming a parent was the most important milestone in my life. I am adopted and have a lovely life with my family but I always wanted to become a mother myself.

We chose a naming ceremony for our girls because I wanted it to be personal and full of our story.

We wanted to choose our own vows and promises to our girls and involve our closest friends as their special people in their life. We do actually refer to them as their “Godparents”. It was one of the best days and I remember it so well.

When I became a celebrant I definitely wanted to include naming days as part of my services.
